More than just a place to stay, Dreamhome offers a space for culture, creativity and shared experiences. Guests are invited to take part in art and yoga retreats, wine tastings and curated gatherings that celebrate the richness of life in Limoux.
Anna Williams and Mikael Jönsson are the couple who left their life in Sweden to follow a dream. During a road trip home from Spain, they fell in love with southern France after spending a night at a small B&B. By the time they arrived back in Kungälv, they had made their decision — they would move to France.
Limoux was discovered by chance. After viewing several properties, Mikael found what would become Dreamhome: a large house with a beautiful courtyard in a vibrant town full of life. Though it was a complete renovation project — what estate agents might call “a diamond in the rough” — they embraced the challenge.
Anna’s background in interior styling and Mikael’s experience as a carpenter and site manager proved invaluable. Together, they transformed the house with skill, creativity and deep dedication.
Anna’s love for antique markets and brocantes is reflected throughout the guest rooms, where carefully chosen vintage finds sit alongside restored architectural features. This thoughtful reuse, combined with her eye for beauty, gives Dreamhome its distinctive character — a place where past and present meet in harmony.
